AB OBJECTIVE: To compare the effect of different AIDS education materials
among students in China. METHODS: 519 medical students who have no
religious beliefs were divided into two groups. Group A read an article
introduces condom being a perfect way for AIDS prevention; Group B read
another describes that condom is not the best. Before and after reading
they answered two questionnaires with same contents of AIDS. RESULT:
After reading the answers became different strikingly. One of the main
answers is shown below. For AIDS prevention what do you choose? TABULAR
DATA, SEE ABSTRACT VOLUME. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Sex freedom took
place in western in 1960s but it didn't in China, condom promotion would
change Chinese young adults' traditional sexual belief and increase the
risk behavior.
